[maximum hardstyle]

not bad

you did it pretty well the only things that would of made it better for me are

1) better transitions between verses and chorus

2) The kick should of been more distorted and had alot more bass for hardstyle also reverb would have made it nice =].

3!!!!) ok this would have bumped it up to a ten it was really plain when you just had the percussions and the lyrics going, you should have had a pad in the background or a sweeper of some sort.

could you tell me the tempo on this so i can fix that and slap it on my ipod?

ya, if your talking about bpm it was 140, and thanks for the review, i was still figuring out the master mixer and automation, im currently working on a hardcore song and hopefuly it will be alot better than this, and yeah i know i need base, i just always forget it xD

EXCELLENT

i loved the light synth in the background it really got me bouncing up and down lol.

the lead is nice but later on it gets a bit grainy rave music should have a lead that goes pop boom bang or Pow. your lead sounds like what you would hear in techno. but when it goes away it sounds awesome.

anyway wether it sounds like rave or not ITS STILL AWESOME!!!!

School doesnt totally suck

Itz still an awesome song. but without school you wouldnt be able to show everyone the awesom ass songs you make in gcse music lol. OH WAIT YOUR AMERICAN OHHHH

Not too good personally

I like the fact you didnt just copy the main melody but you should have made the main melody ALOT LOUDER!

also the pad was much too fast. the chorus in the background isnt and hasnt been that fast since halo 1 so. the chorus in the background should be much slower. i like the fact that its in a trance/techno style but i prefer the rock one personally.

Last but not least the whole song didn't sound epic enough, sound effects ruined it in a sense. halo was always an emotional game and had epic exaggerated moments like a massive artifact being dug from the earth by an alien race. it needs an epic sound track this wasnt epic enough.

in the mix i could hear the main theme of halo 1-2 and of course 3 aswell as warrior which was used in sideskirts on halo 2 and Tsavo Highway on halo 3

Well it looks to me you already had al youre expectations ready ! And none off them are being filled !
The epic Sound you want was not the way i wanted it to be !
Because this Sound is already used in the original! , thats why i did not make it here, it`s a trance version after all !

Just Using the notes from the original to give it my own vibe !

OMG AWESOME

I loved the awesome talkbox style modulation.

the strange sitar like guitar actually fitted in with the song.

i think the talkbox modulation was a bit overpowering though and the kick forced the song to pulse alot.

Yeah I'm trying to practice with the talkbox thing 'cause I just LOVE how it sounds! :o)

The pulsing was actually made on purpose (my first attempts in sidechaining: check the tutorial in my favorite flash list)
